Figure of Maitreya

Head from an image of a Bodhisattva, probably Maitreya. The face is round and smooth, the features rather close together, the open eyes, with prominent lids and incised iris, oblique under gently curving and slightly ridged eyebrows which almost meet under the raised circular ūrṇā.
