Vase

Carved rock-crystal, two-handled potiche in the form of a depressed sphere, the flat base having a very low foot-rim and the very short neck being slightly everted. Engraved in the middle of one side of the potiche is an insignificant pear-shaped cartouche containing the name 'Akbar’ (in Arabic characters).
