Grass basket

Grass basket, shaped like melon with one end cut off to from mouth. The 'stakes' or warp are of bamboo thick and laid as close together as possible. The bottom being convex, additional stakes are added to retain close texture of sides, and some of these are held at the upsetting by a round of 'waling stroke'.
