Coping stone

This is a lintel beam of the vedika projection, carved with a number of panels flanked on either side by mithunas. Six smaller panels divide the bigger panel, where amorous couples stand in various attitudes. Smaller panels depicting the preaching the Buddha and other Jataka stories.
