# Tirthankara

The image depicts Tirthankara Parsvanatha seated in dhyana mudra, a meditative posture. He is positioned on a double lotus pedestal, which is a common feature in Jain art and iconography. A distinctive characteristic of this image is the presence of hoods of snakes above his head, although they appear to be broken.
