# Venugopala

Image of Venugopala standing in atibhanga mudra and cross-legged on a rectangular pedestal. Both of his hands are missing, but the posture of his hands hints about a probable flute. Thus, Krishna with a flute is Venugopala.

- **Kind:** artefact
- **Date:** 1500–1599 CE
