# Head of Vishnu

The sculptural fragment depicts the crowned head of Vishnu. His eyes are closed, probably in meditation, suggesting a contemplative state. His nose is flat and broad, characteristic of traditional Indian art depictions of deities. His left ear is damaged, which may have been caused by wear or intentional alteration.
