# Bhu

Holding a lotus in right hand, the goddess would have stood to the right of a god, so probably Bhu or Parvati. Typical but a little less sophisticated than some. Dark brass colour, moderate wear. Female standing figure in a slightly tribhanga pose probably of the goddess Bhu , a consort of Vishnu.

- **Kind:** artefact
- **Date:** 1795–1850 CE
