# Painting

This portrait of a Rajasthani princess depicts her wearing a thin white muslin sari edged with gold and a muslin choli. In addition to her necklaces, she has a garland of flowers around her throat; in her upheld hands she holds a pearl necklace with a pendant set with a large red stone that is probably a spinel.
