Firman case

Rectangular firman case (kharifa) of gilt leather covered with a transparent lacquer and with a fold-over flap terminated with three lobes. The pattern is picked out in colours. Slightly raised pattern consists of a lobed lattice-motive in whose compartments are detached trefoils on stems.
