Relief

This relief shows the Buddha and his monks seated in a sala grove, sunk in meditation. The Buddha sits in the centre, sitting on a low socle distinguished by a plinth and by cushions. Behind the Buddha, two curled-in branches of the Bodhi tree are hanging down, forming an impressive halo.
