Pair of Doors

Pair of doors carved in teak, iron studded from a Muhammdan dwelling house from Lahore city, Punjab. Mogul work strong Saracenic influence. 16th century. More recently was the residence of Diwan (minister) of Ranjit Singh (1799-1839). It was demolished to make way for a Reservoir for the city of Lahore.
