Fragment

Fragment of a carpet. Cut woollen pile knotted over cotton warps. The fragment came from the right side of the carpet. The pattern is composed of large plants in vertical rows with blue foliage and flowers in yellow, white and pink on a warm red ground. A portion of a narrow floral border terminates the right side.
