Embroidered cotton cover with floss silks and couched with gold thread. The design consists of lotus-like palmettes enclosed in a trellis of leaves. The gold thread used for the background is paper-wrapped. The square is made up of four fragments stitched together and edged with a narrow border of chevron design.
