Bed cover

Part of a palampore or bed cover of mordant- and resist-dyed cotton chintz. The design consists of a flowering tree growing with exposed roots from a mound. The top portion is missing. A vase of flowers appears in each of the bottom corners and there is a broad border filled with undulating floral branches.
