Palampore
This painted cotton palampore shows a serpentine tree with two main branches crossing near the top, and large flowers resembling an anemone, a peony, chrysanthemums and, possibly, a tulip. There are also clusters of nuts or fruit, delicately drawn sprays of currants and a leafy plant with tendrils.
