# Sword and sheath

The finely watered, curving steel blade is probably Iranian and has an Indian steel hilt overlaid with gold. The inscriptions overlaid in gold within cartouches on the blade include a Persian couplet, a maker's attribution (Muhammad Zaman Isfahani) and the owner's name, Mir Karim Ali Talpur.
