# Salver

This salver is made of pale green nephrite jade and was probably produced in the Mughal court workshops in the late 17th or early 18th century. Its discreet decoration of flowering plants contained within arches is characteristic of Mughal court design from the reign of Shah Jahan (r. 1628-1658) onwards.
