# Textile fragment

Fragment of block-printed cotton. Remnant of piece-goods for a European dress. French inspired design of delicate scrolling leafy stems, with large and small flowerheads. The leaves are arranged in a fish-tail effect on the stems, and cover the ground in a spacious trellis, with plenty of white space undecorated.

- **Kind:** artefact
- **Date:** 1750–1800 CE
