# Wine pot

Graceful tall necked Nepalese wine vessels such as this were difficult to clean and because of this were reserved for wine only. Their form was probably based on earlier Indian prototypes. A cast bell metal wine pot with footrim and flattened globular form decorated with deep striations at its maximum circumference.
