Cabinet front

This thick wooden panel would originally have been the fall-front element of a small cabinet and was made in Gujarat or Sindh between about 1600 and 1620. Each side of the panel, which is probably teak, has a very thin veneer inlaid with ivory, including some motifs stained green or red.
