Painting

The painting, in opaque watercolour on paper, is of a pink-flowered plant shown against a plain off-white paper ground. It has a central serpentine stalk growing up from a splayed foot at ground level, off which branch serrated leaves, two flowers in full bloom on slender stalks and two stems with unripe seed heads.
