Painting

Painting, in opaque watercolour and gold on paper, a panel of Nasta'liq calligraphy comprising a verse of 7 baits written by the penman 'Imad al-Husaini. Above this is mounted a painting of two doves outside a dovecote, possibly a fragment from an early 17th century painting which has been repainted.
