# Painting

In this scene of leisure, two women on a moonlit terrace watch pigeons as they come home to roost. Food and drink is laid out for the women to enjoy, and an attendant cools them with a fan while another plays music. The composition is enlivened by the placement of the patterned floorspread and bed at a diagonal angle.
