I N Rāyara-Hubli, or the old town, is the temple of Bhavānīśaṅkara and beside it are three others to Nārāyaṇa, Bhavānīśaṅkara and Gaṇapati, with carved figures on the walls. A fine broken image of Sūrya and an inscribed slab were lying outside.
