The door-way of the gate is 5.50 m. wide. The entrance passage is straight and on the platform of the gateway is a two storeyed super structure. The lower storey has three entrance, on either side and the upper at the topmost flat-roof of the upper storey is a row of decorative projections. From these two storeys one can have a clear sight of the movements of people etc., over a considerable distance. The storeys have the commanding view of the river side.
