In addition to the main gateways, there are three colossal watch towers (Burj), almost at regular intervals, one to the north-east locally called as Ali Burj (Illn.H3), another to the south known as Lānda-qasāb Bastion (Illn.H2) and the Mālik-e-Maidān to the west. Within the fort also there is another isolated Burj in the north-western quadrant locally known as Upli Burj or Hyderi Burj, as per the inscription tablet insett in it.
