Jñāna-Dakshiṇāmūrti
v2.c16.s8.t2.1
There is not much difference between the Vyākhyānamūrti and the Jñānamūrti. In the latter the general posture of Siva is exactly the same as in the former, but in the back right hand there should be the akshamālā, and in the back left hand a utpala flower. The front right hand should be held in the jñānamudrā pose, whereas the front left hand may be kept in the abhaya or the daṇḍa pose.
