² Fully described and illustrated in \*Ann. Rep. A. S., Ceylon, 1907\*, pp. 17–24, 36, Pl. XVI–XIX, and plan. This purely Brahmanical building is locally miscalled the \*Daḷadā Māligāwa\*, or 'Shrine of the Tooth Relic'. The fine Hindu bronzes described \*post\*, chap. vii, sec. 7 \*b\*, were found by digging a trench outside a southern extension of the eastern wall of the enclosure of this temple, to which they evidently belonged.
