— Traces of the kingdom which was established in Gandhāra — the Kabul valley and the region of the upper Indus — by the first Kuṣaṇa conqueror (v. sup. § 65) are to found at intervals from its beginning to its end (c. B.C. 25 — A.D. 1026).
