Line 2: *-ādisthitiḥ*: Hira Lal reads *-ādi kṣitiḥ*. Line 6: *-rājñī*: This is the reading in Hira Lal’s text (perhaps a misprint?); the photograph is not sufficiently clear to check it, but the context seems to demand *-rājñā* (though this is not strictly correct grammatically, *-rājena* being the preferred form).

Translation
c14.s12.9
1. Homage to the Holy Creator. I praise that Lord, who is both manifest and unmanifest: (who, as) the unmanifest, is pervasive, eternal, beyond all qualities, and composed of consciousness, and [yet is] the cause of what is manifest. [v. 1] As long as the moon and sun and stars shall stand
2. in the firmament of the heavens, so long may this Phāruki [Fārūqī] dynasty rejoice upon the earth. [v. 2] In this line there was a Phāruki Lord named Rājā Malika. His son was
3. the noble-minded King Gajanī [Ghaznī], an ornament to his family. [v. 3] From him was born the mighty Kesarakhāna [Kaisar Khān]. His son was King Hasana [Hasan Khān]. From him was born King Edala-Śāha [‘Ādil Shāh], and his son was Lord Mubārakha [Mubārak]. [v. 4]
4. His son was the glorious Lord of Kings, King Edala, of great fame, whose lotus-feet are rubbed by the crowns on the heads of kings, and whose enemies are under the sway of his glorious might. Day and night he bows before the Supreme Brahmā, beyond all qualities;
5. victorious is this crown jewel among lords of the earth! [v. 5] Good luck [and] fortune! In the [Vikrama] Saṃvat year 1646, the Śaka [year] 1511, the Virodhin year [of the cycle of Jupiter], in the bright half of the month of Pauṣa, [*tithi*] 10 [for] 23 *ghaṭīs*, and on the eleventh *tithi*, a Monday, [in] Kṛttikā, [for] 33 *ghaṭīs* together with (?)
6. Rohiṇī [in] the Śubha *yoga* [for] 42 *ghaṭīs*, in the Vaṇija *karaṇa*; on this day, at the moment of the 11th *ghaṭī* of the night, [in] the Kanyā *lagna*, this mosque was constructed by the seven-times illustrious King Edala-Śāha, son of the illustrious Mubārakha Śāha, for the protection of his religion.
