Malik Názír was succeeded by his son Miran Ádil Khán. He was assassinated in A.D. 1441, and his son Mubárik Khán reigned till A.D. 1457. Ádil Khán then became king, and his reign, which lasted till A.D. 1503, was one of the most flourishing periods of Khándesh history. He neglected to pay tribute to Gujarát, but was forced to do so about the year 1499.
