No. 99. Po-Nagar Vase Inscription of Śakrānta dated 1179 Śaka
v1.c9.s87.2
The inscription is engraved on a copper vase found in the Temple of Po-Nagar. It records that the vase was given to the goddess Po-Nagara by the king Śakrānta belonging to Mandavijaya, in the year 1179 (=1257 A. D.). Śakrānta was probably an usurper. B. E.
