²⁹⁰ Ibn Batutah says the king sent an army under Diljali Tatar (دل جلي تاتار) to Ibrahim Khan. This is Bahram Khan, the adopted son of Sultan Ghiyas-al-Din Tughluq who had been appointed to share authority with Bahadur. Bahadur was overpowered and killed. His skin was stuffed and exposed throughout the whole country, III, pp. 316-17. Mr. Rakhal Das Bannerjee in his History of Bengal (I, p. 95) places the defeat and death of Bahadur sometime in 733 A.H.
