### [v1.c16.348](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.general.ray-1931.v1.c16.348)

³ The inscription was noticed by Cunningham in his \*ASR\*, Vol. XI, p. 169; he read the date as 12. The record was then edited in \*MASB\*, Vol. V, No. 3, pp. 93-94. Mr. R. D. Banerji read the date as 42. It is not impossible that the \*Mahāmāṇḍalika\* Iśvaraghoṣa whose copper-plate has been discovered near Ramganj in the district of Dinajpur, was a vassal either of Rāmapāla or some of his immediate successors. See \*IB\*, pp. 149-57.
