The Dynastic History of Northern India (Early Mediaeval Period) v1.c16.441

- **Language:** English

### [v1.c16.441](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.general.ray-1931.v1.c16.441)

As the passage is giving the date of the compilation of the work in the reign of Lakṣmaṇasena (Phālguna, Śaka 1127 = 1206 A.D.) and since the word \*rasaikaviṁśe\* gives no sense, I think Mr. Sircar was quite right to suggest that it was a copyist's mistake for \*rājyaikaviṁśe\*. See \*Notices of Sanskrit MSS.\* by R. L. Mitra, Vol. III, Part II, Calcutta, 1875, p. 141.
