### [v2.c28.201](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.general.ray-1931.v2.c28.201)

As to the names of the officers who served under this king, the Mau stone-inscription of Madanavarman informs us that the Brāhman Ananta, who held various responsible posts under Kīrtivarman, continued to serve under his son.³ The same inscription tells us that Vatsa, Gadādhara, Vāmana and Pradyumna, the four sons of the abovementioned officer after 'being properly tried,' were all appointed to suitable posts by king Sallakṣaṇavarman.¹ Of these, Gadādhara appears to have been the officer responsible for the success of the king in the \*Antarvedī\*.²
