⁶ There are variants of this name. A Madanpur stone inscription gives the form \*Jejāka-bhukti\* (Cunningham, \*ASR\*, Vol. X, plate XXXII, No. 10, lines 2-3). The same form of the name is found in several other Madanpur records, with the addition of \*deśa\*, or \*maṇḍala\*. (See \*ibid\*, Vol. XXI, p. 174.) The Ratnapur stone inscription of the Kalacuri Jājalladeva, (Cedi) Saṁvat, 866, gives the form \*Jejābhuktika\*; see \*EI\*, Vol. I, p. 35, V. 21.
