Cunningham identified a hill ‘situated on the left, or west, bank of the Paisuni river, about 5 miles to the S.W. of Karwi, and 50 miles to the S.E. of Banda,’ with the Citrakūṭa of the \*Rāmāyaṇa\*; \*ASR\*, Vol. XXI, pp. 10-13.
