⁵ As Muñja was certainly dead by the year 997 A.D. the story of \*PC\* (pp. 29-30) which makes Durlabha a contemporary of Muñja is wrong. His date for the accession of Bhīma, V.S. 1077 (c. 1021 A.D.) may also be inaccurate. The \*Therāvalī\* gives this date as V.S. 1078.
