⁴ For a MS. dated in (V.) \*Saṁvat\* 1350, in the reign of Sāraṅgadeva, while his army was encamped near Asāpalli, see Bhandarkar's \*Report for 1883-84\*, 17-18; \*BG\*, Vol. I, Part I, p. 205. Bhagvanlal identifies Asāpalli with Ahmedabad. H. H. Wilson notices (\*Asiatic Researches\*, Vol. XVI, p. 311) an Abu inscription of Sāraṅgadeva, dated in V.S. 1350 (A.D. 1294), when the \*Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara\* Vīsaladeva of Candrāvatī was his feudatory. See also \*Ras\*, Vol. I, p. 264. The \*BG\* (Vol. I, Part I, p. 204) mentions it but Kielhorn omits it in his list of Northern Inscriptions (\*EI\*, Vol. V, \*Appendix\*).
