### [v2.c32.18](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.general.ray-1931.v2.c32.18)

The history of the Cāhamānas may be conveniently grouped round the following heads: (1) \*Cāhamānas of Lāṭa\*, (2) \*Cāhamānas of Dhavalapurī\*, (3) \*Cāhamānas of Partabgarh\*, (4) \*Cāhamānas of Sākambharī\*, (5) \*Cāhamānas of Raṇastambhapura\*, (6) \*Cāhamānas of Naḍḍūla\*, (7) \*Cāhamānas of Jāvālipura\*, and (8) \*Cāhamānas of Satyapura\*. Of these the last three (Nos. 6, 7 and 8) were undoubtedly connected with No. 4; but the relationship of the first three with each other or with the rest is at present unknown.
