The Dynastic History of Northern India (Early Mediaeval Period) v2.c32.s4.3

- **Language:** English

### [v2.c32.s4.3](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.general.ray-1931.v2.c32.s4.3)

³ \*WZKM\*, Vol. VII, pp. 187-92. \*PV\*, now edited with Jonarāja's commentary, by S. K. Belvelkar, \*Bibliotheca Indica\*, New Series, No. 1400, Calcutta. The author of the work is unknown. Sarda has suggested that it may be Jayanāka, the Kashmirian poet, whose entry in Pṛthvīrāja's court is recorded in Sarga XII. As it mentions the defeat of Muḥammad Ghūrī by Bhīma I, which took place in 1178 A.D., it is suggested that the work was composed between that date and about 1200 A.D. The work is incomplete.
