In 421 of 1903 the king seems to be called Rāja-rāja by mistake. Sewell: (\*HISI.\* p. 82) adopts A.D. 1052, May 28, the date of the accession of Rājēndradeva, for the battle of Koppam. But we have no evidence that Rājēndra did not become heir-apparent some time before the battle.
