Chandrikâpuri—Srâvastî or Sahet-mahet in the district of Gonda in Oudh: it was the birth-place of Sambhavanâtha, the third Tîrthaṅkara, and of Chandraprabhânâtha, the eighth Tîrthaṅkara of the Jainas. There is a Jaina temple dedicated to Sobhanâtha, which name is a corruption of Sambhavanâtha (see Srâvastî).
