'first come \*yavas\* (barley), on failure of them \*vrīhi\* (rice), on failure of this, other food except \*māṣa\* (black beans), \*kodrava\*, gram, \*masūra\* (a kind of pulse), \*cīna\* and \*kapittha\*'.
