12.3.5 \*Hunting scenes.\* The earliest evidence of ritualistic practices is presented by prehistoric paintings \[13\] depicting hunting scenes associated with magical hunting rites before the actual hunt for its success. Pd II, Neolithic, of BURZAHOM has produced a stone slab engraved with the scene of stag hunt. It shows on the upper plane a dog and two rayed circles representing the sun. Below is a stag which stands centrally and is being attacked by a male with a bow and arrow on the front, while a female pierces the animal from behind with a spear.
