Similar types of fossils have been discovered from the yellowish sandy bed (Upper Group) of the central NARMADA VALLEY dated to about 31750 B.P and the GODAVARI and Bhima river valleys from where we have a large number of ¹⁴C dates (40000 B.P. onwards). The Manjra valley fossils are assigned an Upper Pleistocene age on morphological grounds.
