Four phases of the Chalcolithic habitation have been recognized at this site. Phases I, II and III are respectively distinguished by black-and-red ware, cream-slipped ware and black-on-red painted ware. In the last phase a coarse red ware occurs together with the Lustrous Red Ware \[11.9\]. It should nevertheless be noted that the Malwa Ware \[11.10\]—the diagnostic trait of the culture—is found in all these phases.
