### [v1.c9.s14.t1.46](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.reference.ghosh-1989.v1.c9.s14.t1.46)

The successors of the people of the Savalda culture were the late Harappans as has been attested by the occurrence of terracotta button-shaped seals and potsherds respectively with engraved and painted Indus signs \[20.4.1\], the sturdy fast-wheel-made late Harappa \[11.4\] red ware of fine fabric with such types as the dish-on-stand, vase with oval-collared rim, vase with beaded rim, the ribbed bichrome ware and a mud-brick-lined extended burial, the mud bricks used being in the ratio of 1:2:4. The bronzes found in 1974 and mentioned above seem to belong to the late Harappa phase on circumstantial grounds.
